BOOM! Studios Celebrates 2023 Eisner Nominations
A Vicious Circle, Lee Bermejo, and James Tynion IV represent the publisher in the industry’s most prestigious award nominations
BOOM! Studios is proud to announce it has received three key nominations in the 2023 Eisner Awards, celebrating the best of the year in comics. This includes two nominations for BOOM! Studios along with one shared nomination in 2023.
The full list of nominated comics and talent are below:
– Best Single Issue/One-Shot: A Vicious Circle Book 1 by Mattson Tomlin and Lee Bermejo (BOOM! Studios)
– Best Painter/Multimedia Artist (interior art): Lee Bermejo, A Vicious Circle (BOOM! Studios)
– Best Writer: James Tynion IV, House of Slaughter, Something Is Killing the Children, Wynd (BOOM! Studios); The Nice House on the Lake, The Sandman Universe: Nightmare Country (DC); The Closet, The Department of Truth (Image)

The Will Eisner Comic Industry Awards are presented under the auspices of Comic-Con International, a nonprofit educational organization dedicated to creating awareness of and appreciation for comics and related popular artforms, primarily through the presentation of conventions and events that celebrate the historic and ongoing contributions of comics to art and culture.
