SYNOPSIS
When a long-lost army suddenly appears from beneath the clouds, one impulsive decision made by Dee will change her destiny forever.
With only her broken-down robot companion and a mysterious flying engine to help her, Dee is sent on a sky-bound journey that will take her from the darkest wastelands below the clouds to the brightest capital of her world.
Her greatest challenge will be to look beyond her family legacy and create a destiny of her own choosing.

DEE
Dee’s been an engineer all her life, though she was never especially good at it. She longed for the day she’d finally get to take charge of Peacetowne, and get her chance to be the boss. People tend to underestimate her, but she has a knack for problem solving and a unique way of looking at the word that comes in handy when it isn’t getting her in trouble!
RICKETS
Rickets is a robot. He was given to Dee when she was a little kid to be a night-light and music-box friend for her. Rickets is always by her side, but now Dee’s realizing there’s more to her robot buddy than she thought.
BULL
Bull has a more cynical worldview than Dee, and gets fed up with her naivete and self-centeredness pretty easily. Living beneath the clouds has given Bull has more first-hand knowledge of the world than Dee and he is much more aware of how dangerous it can be.
CAP
The captain of Peacetowne, she is only four years older than Dee. Condescending and competent, Cap has no patience for Dee, who she considers to be a nuisance at best and a menace at worst.
TUNGSTON
Dee’s adoptive father, Tungston was the former owner of the ship Peacetowne, and an engineer in its garage. He adopted Dee, Bull, and the rest of their brothers and brought them to live on board Peacetowne before he was killed by the Teppan… or so Dee always thought.
