SYNOPSIS
16-year-old Marigold “Goldie” Vance lives at a Florida resort with her dad, who manages the place, and dreams to one day become the hotel’s in-house detective. When Walter, the current detective, encounters a case he can’t crack, he agrees to mentor Goldie in exchange for her help solving the mystery utilizing her smarts, random skills, and connections with the hotel staff and various folks in town.

GOLDIE
Goldie Vance has an insatiable curiosity. She lives at the Crossed Palms Resort with her dad, Art, who manages the place. Goldie works there as a valet, and moonlights at the hotel detective's best (and only) assistant.
CHERYL
Cheryl is Goldie's best friend! Cheryl is brilliant, and hopes to be an astronaut one day. For now, she works the concierge desk at the Crossed Palms, and uses her scientific know-how to help Goldie out on tough cases.
DIANE
Diane is Goldie's best girl. That is to say, her girlfriend. She works at the local record store. She's super cool (just ask Goldie!) and keeps up with the Rock 'n' Roll scene in town and on the radio!
WALT
Walt is the hotel detective at Crossed Palms. He's a bit of a shy goof and a bit to play-by-the-rules for Goldie's taste, but he's always there to help Goldie when she winds up out of her depths.
