Thank you for your interest in BOOM! Studios, we’re always looking for new talent to work with and explore.

FOR ARTISTS (pencilers, inkers, colorists, cover artists, letterers):

BOOM! Studios is not currently accepting samples of artwork or other unsolicited art material or pitches. Any unsolicited samples, pitches, or other creative material will be discarded and not reviewed.

How can you get noticed by BOOM! Studios?

Our editorial team routinely searches for artists (including line artists, colorists, cover artists, and letterers) for projects they are working on. Our team proactively looks for new artists on various social media channels (ex. Instagram, Twitter, etc.), art network sites (ex. DeviantArt, ArtStation, etc.), and artist websites. Our recommendation is to maintain one or more platforms online with your portfolio and make sure to update it consistently with your latest work. Not only will this allow you to build an audience for yourself, but will allow us to see how quickly and consistently you work. If you have published work from other publishers, self-publishing, webcomics, crowdfunding projects, or other publishing channels, make sure you include that information where ever you are sharing your portfolio online.

BOOM! Studios does not accept unsolicited material or pitches. Any unsolicited submissions will be discarded and will not be read. Why do we do this?

This policy is in place to avoid any misunderstandings should your original work appear similar to any original work that BOOM! Studios is developing. Ultimately, many stories, pitches, scripts, treatments, etc. are based around comparable concepts and ideas, and this policy protects us legally. If you choose to neglect this policy and submit materials regardless, you acknowledge that you have read our submission policy and understand that by making such a submission, you understand that BOOM! Studios has no obligation to you or your submission and that you have no claim based on such submission. Such submissions will be discarded.
